AUSTRALIAN SPORTS FOUNDATION 2023 ACTIVE KIDS GRANT

The Active Kids grant program is generously funded by the Dickinson Foundation in partnership with the Australian Sports Foundation (ASF), and aims to improve the physical and mental health of children and young Australians by encouraging and/or increasing sports participation through the provision of uniforms and equipment to eligible community organisations.  

The 2023 Active Kids grant is open to volunteer-run grassroots and community clubs and organisations with members aged 20 or younger. 

This year grants will be awarded in the form on field uniform supplied by ISC Sport and sporting equipment by HART Sport.

When does the Active Kids grant round open and close?

The 2023 Active Kids grant round opens 9am (AEST) Monday 11 September 2023 and closes 5pm (AEST) Friday 29 September 2023.

What grant value can I apply for?

There is no maximum grant value for this grant round. However, because there is a limited pool of funds available and the objective is to help as many clubs in need as possible, applicants are encouraged to only apply for what you need to improve the physical and mental health of young Australians through more sports participation opportunities.

Uniform orders must be for a minimum value of $5,000 GST inclusive.

Are any sports ineligible for the grant?

Following sports are not eligible for this grant:

Aircraft Sport, Equestrian, Fencing, Gridiron, Gymnastics, Horse Racing, Ice Hockey, Ice Racing, Ice Skating, Judo
Jujitsu, Karate, Martial Arts, Motor Sports, Motorcycling, Outrigger Canoeing, Parachuting, Powerlifting, Snowsports,
Taekwondo, Triathlon, Underwater Sports, Water Skiing, Weightlifting, Wrestling.

Do I need to include any specific reference for my quote to be considered for an Active Kids grant?

Yes, you MUST include your ASF member number (i.e. ASF-XXXXXX) in the “ASF MEMBER NUMBER” field in order for your Active Kids grant application to be assessed.

When will I receive my quote?

Once you have submitted your quote form, you will immediately receive an email confirmation with a PDF quote that can be uploaded to your ASF Active Kids grant application. Don't see your email in your inbox? We recommend checking your junk mail or spam folders.

Why can't I submit my quote?

You must select a sport, products and enter quantities to achieve a total quote of minimum $5000 to be able to submit your form.
