NSW Rugby Union have unveiled ISC as the Official Apparel Partner of the NSW Waratahs for the next three seasons. 

The new deal – which runs until the end of the 2023 Super Rugby season – will see ISC provide playing and team wear for the NSW Waratahs Super Rugby, Super W and Academy teams.

The announcement comes following the recent termination of NSW Rugby’s apparel agreement with XBlades.

The move to ISC will see the NSW Waratahs align with one of the most recognisable and largest teamwear providers in the country – with a history in sports apparel in Australia and around the world dating back to the early ‘90s. 

ISC have worked with some of Australia’s biggest sporting teams and also have a history with the NSW Waratahs, dating back to the early ‘00s when they were the competitions’ apparel partner between 2004 – 2006.

NSW Rugby CEO, Paul Doorn said that the announcement of ISC as an apparel partner was an exciting development ahead of the 2021 Super Rugby season.

“The prospect of finding a new apparel partner on such a tight time frame is a scary prospect for any major sporting team – particularly in these uncertain times,” Doorn said. 

“Once we went to market, we found there was plenty of competitive tension, but in saying that, the choice became pretty simple once our conversations with ISC began.

“They’re a brand synonymous with high-performance playing and team wear across the country, with the ability to deliver the range of products that will assist the NSW Waratahs in both performing and looking their best.

“Already having an involvement with the game at grassroots was something we were really excited about, ISC are passionate about the game of rugby and want to see if grow and develop at all levels.

“Industry leaders in both design and technology, I’m excited to see what ISC are able to produce for 2021 and beyond.”

ISC CEO & Managing Director, Jason Schulman said he was delighted to be reuniting with the NSW Waratahs and supply the organisation’s team wear for the next three years. 

“To be partnering with an iconic Australian sporting brand like the NSW Waratahs is really exciting for us,” Schulman said.

“They’re an organisation that has such a rich history and we were really keen to partner with them and begin contributing to that through the design and delivery of their iconic sky-blue jersey.

“With our expertise in delivering quality performance apparel, ISC has grown valuable alliances within rugby union across grassroots, Shute Shield and now Super Rugby.

“We look forward to seeing NSW Waratahs players, members, fans and staff in kit made by ISC."

The new range of ISC apparel for the NSW Waratahs 2021 Vodafone Super Rugby season is currently under design and details around their unveiling and availability will be confirmed ahead of pre-season.
